Why I Started Theracourse
I started TheraCourse so that school-based speech-language pathologists could take self-paced online courses that were not only affordable but also helped them improve their clinical skills needed to work with students.
It has been an incredibly rewarding experience over the past 13 years since starting TheraCourse to offer these courses to speech-language pathologists and special educators across the country or stationed at military bases overseas who are committed to helping students with communication disorders.

About Me
I earned my master’s in speech-language pathology from Northeastern University and have been helping students improve their communication skills since 2004. My career began in Early
Intervention, and for the past 21 years, I’ve worked as a school-based SLP in Boston, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, gaining valuable experience across a variety of educational settings. Early on, I took teacher-focused courses that weren’t relevant to my role, which prevented me from focusing on more advanced, field-specific expertise. Now, I’m committed to providing
practical, relevant resources that truly make a difference.
